Fuel prices hit the roof across Kurdistan and Iraq

"Suleimani (TheKurdistani.com) – The Iraqi government has increased the price of fuel all over Iraq including Kurdistan, leading to protests against the move across Iraq. Angry motor drivers in the city of Suleimani told the independent Kurdish radio, Radio Nawa, that they can not cope with the massive increase in fuel prices.

A litter of petrol has increased form 53 to up to 260 Iraqi Dinar and a litter of diesel increased to 1,500 Iraqi Dinar. Paraffin which is used for household cooking and heating has increased up to 7,500 Iraqi Dinar.

Radio Nawa reported of protests in the Shitte city of Karbala in southern Iraq against the increase of fuel prices in Iraq. Angry drivers in the city of Suleimani told Radio Nawa that they will carry out similar protests if fuel prices did not drop."
The Kurdistani
Who said Iraq did not have good politicians? Bad politicians would have raised the fuel right before the election, the good ones always do it after.
