West Michigan lawmaker knew about secret spying

"(Grand Rapids, December 17, 2005, 5:49 p.m.) A West Michigan lawmaker was one of the few people in the loop on the President's authorization of secret spying by the NSA.

Congressman Pete Hoekstra was one of a handful of congressional leaders let in on the secret program.

It was revealed Friday that since October 2001, the National Security Agency has, without court-approved warrants, eavesdropped on international phone calls and e-mails of people inside the United States.

Congressman Hoekstra tells 24 Hour News 8 that as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, he was kept in the loop on the classified project, and did not object.

He also says he believes the project is legal."

I wonder if his constituents approve of his actions, maybe they should contact him for an explanation http://hoekstra.house.gov/Contact/

I want the complete list of law makers that were in the loop, just in case any of them were representing me. I tell you one thing if any of them were, they won't be representing me any longer.
