Pearls of Iraq: Iraqi Kurdistan Book Drive

"Pearls of Iraq’s last post discussed the official start of the Iraq Kurdistan Book Drive. I want to continue this discussion by answering a question asked by a dear friend. Why am I collecting books for this region in Iraq versus other governates and moreover, other countries, such as Afghanistan?
