Mom joins Army after son sent to Iraq (+ Stuff)

"They say that the only poll that counts happens on election day. I like to agree, though sometimes it’s still nice to know what people are thinking. How do you measure support for the military and the ongoing war on terror?

One answer could be that the Army has met its recruiting goal for 15 straight months. Of course, then some would argue that the only reason that happened is because the Army has lowered its standards with regard to recruitment. If you consider raising the age limit that people can join the military lowering standards, I wouldn’t tell that to some peoples’ faces. "
