It's amazing that today all the talk on the radio has been about the language amendment from yesterday, yet no one is talking about the "slavery" amendment (Kyle amendment) that failed by something like 58 to 38. The Kyle amendment would have made it impossible for someone that entered with a Temp worker program to file for a green card and have a path to citizenship thus creating a legal second worker class, allot like they have in KSA. It's a sad day when 38 Senators would vote for such a thing, I was biting my fingernail while the vote was on. I just could not believe we would even consider such an idea, but there it was. I wonder if it had passed if those people would have at some time been required to were a badge identifying them as "worker class" while in public.
