So, keeping up with my old tradition of making a political point out of everything… please allow me to preach (to the choir) about racism.
I had always heard about racist people, and had seen a bunch of angry European and Australian skinheads on TV, but I never had the chance to meet one in person until some weeks ago. He was a young brown Middle Eastern kid who believed for a reason or another that he was “white”. This Aryan white-supremacist ideology seems to be growing very fast in the Iranian opposition groups abroad, and it seems like it’s doing well in building a sentiment of long-distance nationalism among many out of the millions of Iranian expats. This Aryan racism is built, like many other racism ideologies, on hate and discrimination against “non-white” people, especially people with Semitic blood (i.e. Arabs and Jews)."

Irony seems wasted on Raed whose friendship with Salam Pax seems to have been originally founded on an interest in Arab Pride and whose "national leader" was the head of the Arab Nationalism Party (Ba'athists).
His revulsion of skinheads only extends to an opportunity to smear "Iranian Opposition groups" as though Persians and Kurds in Iran are not taught in school that to proudly identify themselves as "Aryans" (unlike the Arabs).
Ha! Suddenly Raed is identifying himself with Jews. That's funny.
