Another weekend of shame

"The week's starting.
The weekend of shame is over, but the shame continues.
There are 15 Cubans caged in a Coast Guard cutter somewhere in high seas, and a few lonely Cubans protest their kidnapping from dry ground. They are most likely be sent back to Cuba, in violation of even the very unjust dry foot wet foot regulation, and not many people stand up high for them. A lonely activist goes on a hunger strike.
Till now, only one Miami based writer has reported the story for the blogosphere and it appeared in Robert's 26th Parallel. Ziva reported it for Miami based Babalu, even though she's not located in that city. (Ziva also carries a very exhaustive report on her own blog, Blog for Cuba)
Miami went ahead with its normal weekend."

The Cuban exile community has been silent about a lot of things lately. Seams to have lost it's voice, or like most of America, they appear to have ceded their voice for what they believe is security. They say lightning never strikes twice, I guess we will find out.
