Rizgar Ali: Hundreds of Arab families migrate from Baghdad to Kirkuk

"London (TheKurdistani.com) – In a new wave of Arabization of the Kurdistani city of Kirkuk, sums of hundreds of Arab families are entering Kirkuk every night, reported the Kurdish radio, Radio Nawa.

Rizgar Ali, a Kurdish member of the Kirkuk Council, told Radio Nawa that the reports of Arab families pouring into Kirkuk are genuine. Mr Ali said “According to these reports which we have received from the Duz and Tawg checkpoints on the Kirkuk-Baghdad highway, some hundreds of Arab families who are not originally from Kirkuk and are not refugees, are migrating from Baghdad to Kirkuk.”"
