Did a year in Dade, How did you ever make it out alive?
This place is over run with crazy Cubans. I'm a bit north of that in central dade county.

yea They make quite a pair, but you know it takes all kind to make the world go round, I don't find them so out there as to be completely unreasonable, they are just very partisan, and I'm so used to that around here so I don't mind them at all, and I find the debates there stimulating.

"The thing that makes Shirin and Abbas and Not so dangerous, to me, is the fact that they are all three Westernized (somewhat) Iraqis,".

They posses a wealth of knowledge on Iraq. And they seem to have good connections to the inside. Their views are their views.
There's an old saying, new theories are never accepted by the establishment, it's the old established views that eventually die out.

As long as we are talking about people we should link to those people so that any people that are reading all this for the first time can look up the context. I think I'm going to make this the new rule...

"You will not get him to admit the truth, only 1/2 of it...scott

Well since it was never my intention to get anyone to admit to anything, chances are I won't get disappointed, by my failure.... I like the debate, and they are masters of the arts. I am there to learn, even what they won't tell me teaches me something. And abbas's posting stile is actually new to me, I cant remember the last blog I read that all the good conversation live in the comments.
He seems to excel at the less in more, doctrine
