Let Them Fight...: Afghanistan; Continued Subterfuge in the Ranks of our New 'Allies'
Should anyone yet have questions about the true intentions of Karzai coupled with the ineptitude of our own State Department, they should consider the latest action by Karzai to release yet more jailed militants . While I quite frankly don't care how Karzai, his interiors ministers, police or military choose to handle problems within the borders of Afghanistan, it should be a concern for each and every American as long as American Servicemen are exposed to the obvious dangers in releasing known thugs back into the mainstream of Afghan society where our men are actively patrolling. Let's not forget; these dirt-bags were apprehended because of their active and passive roles in killing Americans.
How exactly do we justify expending American blood to bring these Islamic thugs to justice only to release them again knowing there is a very good chance they will kill more Americans? Read more...

OK, Here's what I think the problem is in Asskrackastan.
1.) We went there to kill all the rotten assholes who had anything to do with 9-11.
2.) We never sent enough troops to get the job totally done--getting distracted in Iraq.
3.) When we got back into the idea of what we were there for, some dumbass in DC thought we could make the backwards retards that live there actaully stop smoking hash and fight.
4.) We need to go back to thought #1 and just fucking blow the shit out of that palce...destroy it all...then leave. If anybody shoots at our troops, we should fucking destroy everything within 10 K of the shooter.
Agreed, except with the issue of 'distraction' in Iraq. Had we taken the the same approach in Iraq, it would not have been a distraction. Both could have been accomplished in a couple of years with some intelligence followed with some drone delivered maintainance. Wars are won by killing the enemy and his support. It took a couple of years to accept that in WWII and culminated in the vaporization of a couple of Japanese cities. We are far to willing to sacrifice to the delusional notions of political correctness.
You guys got it all wrong, Afghanistan is the distraction. There is nothing there, we should never have been there in the first place. The people that attacked us on 911 were not Afghans, and what are you going to bomb, people into the stone age?? they already are.
What madtom said. What is going on is that you send men and machinery into a sandbox complete with mountains and a starving hodgepodge of people of different languages, tribes and more who subsist on cultivating drugs used as painkillers in Indian hospitals.
Any person who does a search on OBL without coming back with intel on links to Bu$hCo's Afghan holdings isn't working hard enough to understand the corruption that is the drug cartel that runs the 'West.'
What are you doing there ?
Crap. 'War is a Racket' is as true as it was when Custer bitched about the President's brother ripping off the - ahem - 'defense' budget.
