ACLS completion‏ + I’m leaving for Tampa

"Today’went much smoother than yesterday. We started the morning early with a company formation at 0540 hrs to receive a 20 minute safety briefing from the company commander and words from the First Sgt. Then we stood attention and saluted Reveille followed by a off-key rendition of “Hail to The Big Red One.” This Army song has significant meaning at Fort Riley and they want everyone (including Air Force personnel) to learn the words of the song and sing it while in formation. The problem is nobody has ever heard of the song, let alone heard it sung. As a result, you have 100 troops (mostly men) trying to croon out the words without having a clue of how it is supposed to be sung. Perhaps by the time we graduate next month I will memorize the words."
