I'm Still Alive

Yes, I am still alive! There's been quite a long delay in posts and that's due to my soul sucking journey back to the United States of America. It's great to be back in the US it's that getting here can crush your will to live.

I'm working on some posts, seeing my wife, drinking a beer and eating food that didn't come out of a cardboard box have taken priority over writing blogs posts.

I'm also trying to convince myself that the kids running up and down my street are not reconing my house for a possible IED or rocket attack.

In attempting to formulate my ideas about my journey into a coherent post; truth is stranger than fiction comes to mind. Conrad's Heart of Darkness is a good base to start from, so that's what I think I'll use.

So; I just wanted to give you a SITREP and let you know that I'm alive and kicking and will be back up on the net soon.

Damn, there goes that kid again up the street. He looks kind of fishy, may have to plan a Cordon and Search of the playground!"
