Demonstrators demand end to Hamas terror
Approximately 300 people have taken part in two separate protests in Dublin City centre, over the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
The protestors, one pro-Palestine group and the other supporting Israel, were gathered outside Government buildings, where they were separated by railings and a heavy Garda presence.
Israeli forces have continued to bombard Gaza City by air, land and sea and both sides continue to resist international calls for a ceasefire.
Doctor Sam Naser, head of the Palestinian Community of Ireland, said people are unhappy that Irish people are siding with Israel.
Meanwhile, the Christian Friends of Israel said that they are protesting Israel's right to defend itself.
