Maher Arar v. John Ashcroft

Earlier this week, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals heard an oral arguments in the case of Maher Arar, a Canadian citizen seized by U.S. authorities at New York's J.F.K. airport in September 2002 and sent to Syria. He is charging the U.S. government with violations of due process.
