Big Tobacco’s Greatest Hits
"Oddly enough, I did not smoke while composing this.
I’ve gotten a number of e-mails in the past few days from people who keep asking me what cigars I like and why. I’ve also been asked why I smoke, since it will kill me one day.
Well, honestly I’ve got more important things to worry about right now than cancer…like lead poisoning.
I first started smoking cigars about 7 years ago, back when gas prices allowed us to do what I’m about to describe. Super Yenta suggested a restaurant all the way down in Maryland which would be a three hour drive that she assured was worth the trip. The restaurant was called “The Cheesecake Factory” and was situated on Baltimore’s inner harbor.
The restaurant had a three hour wait, so we strolled the inner harbor holding hands, talking and window shopping. One of the stores in the inner harbor was a tobacco store that also sold knickknacks such as model cars and airplanes. I stopped to look at the airplanes and ended up talking with the owner of the store. He offered to sell me an Acid KMV cigar with the promise that if I didn’t like it, he would refund my money. I smoked it and I loved it."

This reminds me, I wrote to Cigar Dave and he never wrote me back...
