MilBlog Conference and the Whole OPSEC Thing

"Badger 6 and Badgers Forward was mentioned at today's Milblog Conference. Thanks to Doc in the Box for his nice reference to this blog. When asked about politics he specifically mentioned Badgers Forward as being only political in the sense that it, that I support the mission. The point was made too that if the war has become political, it is not the Milblogs that have made it political.

Under the general question of whether or not the Chain of Command supports Milblogs I think we received a resounding yes. The President of the United States addressed the conference to open it. There was also a live interview with RADM (L) Mark I. Fox, Communications Division Chief for Strategic Effects with the Multi-National Force in Iraq, where he generally agreed with the import that blogs have."
