"I'm not sure why people would be surprised that the Democratic Party invited a radical imam to offer the opening prayer for their Democratic National Committee meeting. I'm not sure why people would be surprised that the Democrats agree with this imam's belief that what the Coalition soldiers are doing in Iraq is "oppression and occupation". This has been their stand for at least the last few years. I'm not sure why Democrats would invoke any prayer at all, since most don't believe in God.
