Have Fun at Leavenworth, Beeyotch!

"1LT Ehern Watada is an idiot. An idiot about to be court-martialed because he has come to believe the Democratic 30-second sound bytes. His first quote, in this interview by Kevin Sites, is about all you need to read to understand that this Lieutenant isn't smart enough to be leading troops into battle.
KEVIN SITES: Now, you joined the Army right after the US was invading Iraq and now you're refusing to go. Some critics might look at this as somewhat disingenuous. You've taken an oath, received training but now you won't fight. Can you explain your rationale behind this?

EHREN WATADA: Sure. I think that in March of 2003 when I joined up, I, like many
Americans, believed the administration when they said the threat from Iraq was imminent — that there were weapons of mass destruction all throughout Iraq; that there were stockpiles of it; and because of Saddam Hussein's ties to al Queda and the 9/11 terrorists acts, the threat was imminent and we needed to invade that country in order to neutralize that threat.
Of course those are the Dem talking points that have come about over years of mis-reporting, and of course Kevin Sites, not wanting to undo those very years of mis-reporting, did not asked LT Watada if he knows that President Bush said in his SOTU address that we needed to act before the threat from Iraq was imminent (now known as the Bush Doctrine); that President Bush never stated that there were WMDs throughout Iraq, only that with the UN team kicked out of Iraq, we couldn't be sure of anything about the WMDs. Or that President Bush has never connected al Queda and 9/11, but that there was, in fact, and active and known connection between Iraq's Intelligence Services and al Queda, authorized by Saddam Hussein"

" that President Bush never stated that there were WMDs throughout Iraq,"

You know that may be true, but I can post links to video of Vise president Cheney saying just that, over and over, and over again. So you may be splitting hairs, when you say, the president "didn't say", the VP speaks for the administration and when he goes on TV and says A,B,or C, then the president did say those things.

Somehow I think you already knew that.

Now I still don't think it's an excuses to get out of a commitment made, and this guy probably should go to jail for refusing his orders.

On another topic, don't the Republicans look silly today crying about minority rights on TV right now.. After 12 years of iron fisted rule, now they are crying like a little girl that lost her toy...
