Biggest energy importer

"According to news sources this morning the EU is the world’s largest importer of oil and gas which buys 82 percent of its oil and 57 percent of its gas from third-party states

Thats funny, everytime I turn on the news Im told the United States is the largest gluttonous pig on the planet...

I still say nuclear power is the way to go.

Even Iran sees the writing on the wall (with oil production waning).

Did you know that France gets 75% of its electricity from nuclear power (based on a long standing policy of energy security)? And did you know that it gets over 90% of its electricity from nuclear or hydro power?

Did you know that France is the worlds largest exporter of electricity?

Looks like the frogs got us on that one (not to mention having great fashion, cheese, wine, and beautiful women)."
