Bush Pleads For Truce In Iraq; Islamic State Demands Full Surrender
Contrary to the mistruths being published in mainstream press that Al-Qaeda is offering a truce to America in Iraq, the fact is the reverse is true. In an audio tape released over the weekend, the Amir of the Islamic State of Iraq, Abu Omar al-Bahgdadi dropped a bombshell disclosing that the US is seeking talks with the newly formed Islamic state, with the Saudi regime brokering the offer.
In the 18 minute long audio tape, Al-Baghdadi relays verbatim the message that was sent through channels in Saudi Arabia. It is widely speculated that the offer was put on the table during US Vice President Dick Cheney’s recent visit to Riyadh in late November.
In the Saudi brokered message, Bush says that the US has held negotiations with all parties and factions in Iraq except the Islamic State of Iraq and that his administration would very much like to sit down with their representatives to negotiate a resolution to the situation there.
In what is a sure sign of desperation, as soon as Al-Bagdadi’s tape was issued, American spin writers went to work putting US spin on the peace offering, betting that most Americans will never hear the text in English. Headlines around the world splashed “Al-Qaeda offers truce” when in fact it is the Bush administration who are endeavoring to make a peace deal with the Islamic State.
Steadfast to form, Amir Baghdadi, may Allah preserve him, wasted no time in giving Bush his answer:
“We do not negotiate with those who spilled the blood of our women and children. We issue the following directive to you. This order must be accepted with disgrace and humiliation before it is too late:
1. You must withdraw all your forces, using only personnel carriers and personnel transport aircraft.
2. Each member of the withdrawing forces is only allowed to carry light weapons. All other heavy weapons, war gear, and other equipment must be left behind.
3. All military bases must be handed over to the Islamic State of Iraq.
4. Total withdrawal must be completed in one month.
5. The Islamic State of Iraq will guarantee safe passage.
6. You have only two weeks to start carrying out this directive.”
Abu Omar al-Bahgdadi went on to address several key points in the new tape including the fact that the Mujahideen of the Islamic State of Iraq have launched a fresh campaign against the crusaders and apostates that will continue until the end of Eid.
Al-Baghdadi’s statement follows on the heels of another new statement by Al-Qaeda’s second in command, Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahiri, who many speculated was dead, including the prestigious Stratford Institute, due to the length of time since his last video address. The timing of Dr. Zawahiri’s address shows once again that Al-Qaeda marches to its own beat. In his address, Dr. Zawahiri emphasizes that the Americans are negotiating with the wrong groups in Iraq saying that those they are making arrangements with have no power.
Along the same vein, Amir Al-Baghdadi in his audio statement issues a challenge to Bush by goading the US president to try to ask any of the parties the Americans are negotiating with to guarantee a halt in hostility for a month to see if any of them actually can.
Baghdadi also gives an invitation to former Iraqi army officers in his new audio, including Majors and Lieutenants, to join the army of the Islamic state. They will have to pass a test in Aqeedah to make sure they have rejected to Taghut and memorize and understand at least three parts of Quran (not three surah's). If the pass, they will be provided with accommodations, medical, social needs and a handsome salary to guarantee a decent living
The Amir goes on to say that 70% of tribal elders gave their blessings to the state, that many soldiers of Jaish Al-Islami and Ansar Al-Sunnah have joined it and that it has placed its foot firmly on the ground, applying the Shariah and assigning workers to collect Zakat.
May Allah bless and prosper the new Islamic State of Iraq and empower it to overcome the occupiers. Ameen.
