Report: Tribal leaders to hold reconciliation meeting

"An Iraqi newspaper reports that tribal and religious leaders from all over Iraq have agreed to meet to solve the crisis in the country. Al Sabah says "the meetings will include Arab tribes, Kurdish tribes, and Turkomen tribes. And the next 10 days will reveal a wide tribal effort for reconciliation."

This gathering is a very Iraqi way of dealing with problems. Traditionally, leaders of one community visit the leaders of another community to solve a problem. Let's hope this method that traditionally helped the country stay together will succeed again this time."
