Tarek Aziz ducks dinner

"For those who have been wondering whatever happened to Saddam's cigar-loving thug, here's a report in Le Monde that says Tarek Aziz is on hunger strike.

For a while, we kept hearing how much Aziz's health was suffering and how close to death he was. Now we learn that this is his second day without food because he wants to see his lawyer to sign a paper to present to the European court for human rights. The paper quotes an American, Lieutenant Colonel Keir-Kevin Curry, who casts doubt on the story. He says Aziz ate yesterday and met with his lawyer."
