BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - One U.S. soldier was killed and two others were missing Saturday after they were attacked at a traffic checkpoint south of Baghdad.
Coalition forces were searching for the missing soldiers, the military said.
The soldiers came under attack Friday at a traffic checkpoint near Youssifiyah, 12 miles south of Baghdad. A quick reaction force arrived at the scene after hearing small arms fire and explosions.
