In his book he lays out the history of the preparation and execution of the Marine invasion of Iraq. During the event, Col. Reynolds presents a slideshow depicting his work in Iraq and the U.S. invasion in March 2003. The talk was hosted by the Naval Historical Center located in Washington, DC.

The presentation caught my attention as soon as he mentioned the combat artist, which was non other than our very own Warrant officer Mike Fay of Fire and Ice Which has been a staple here from the day I found the blog.
