'I have had the opportunity to communicate with various older men such as myself who wish to volunteer for military service, and then volunteer for Iraq. This is called a “two time” volunteer. If one volunteers for other things, such as Officer, Airborne or Ranger, more is added to the total. Some soldiers come here as four time volunteers; having enlisted into the Army, then Infantry, then Airborne Ranger, knowing full well a deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan was inevitable.

I like to remind those who wish to come here that they might not get what they expect, or they might get a lot more than they bargained for."
