CODEL Visit to Afghanistan
Recently, a Congressional delegation visited Iraq and Afghanistan on an information gathering trip. Tonight, the group is in Afghanistan and visits and meets with the Afghan Parliament Speaker, the head of the Afghan Women's Ministry and U.S. troops in Kabul. The delegation then moves on to visits in Jalalabad.
I have been watching this all night on c-span. The delegation was headed by ILEANA ROS-LEHTINEN, Republican, of Miami. A Cuban American like me.
I only wonder what motivated her to go on such a journey, you don't think this blog could have had anything to do with it? Nah..
