Saddam deserves no applause

"The Washington Post has a story today about the brain drain out of Iraq. The story is okay because it addresses the plight of everyday Iraqis.


The reporter does a good job of explaining that the violence and kidnappings are forcing the educated people to flee the country. Iraq desperately needs its educated citizens to rebuild. But the report can be misleading to those who don't know much about Iraq. For example, it quotes a physician who talks about the breakdown of the medical system since the invasion:"
