Profile: Hamid al-Kiffaey

"We all know of the campaigns of the United Iraqi Alliance, the Kurdistan Alliance, the Allawi list, the Chalabi list because these are multi-million dollar campaigns. These are people who can put up billboards and posters, run TV ads and even hold national conferences when they launch their campaigns. Additionally, all their moves are monitored by the reporters and make headline news on a daily basis.

But the ballots also include other entities and individuals, some with promising campaign programs. Let me introduce you to one such list, the Movement for Democratic Society headed by Hamid al-Kiffaey."
