Anti-war activist going to Iraq to try to secure release of foreign hostages

"LONDON (AP) - The British anti-war movement said Thursday it is sending one of its leading members to Iraq to try to secure the release of four kidnapped peace activists.

Anas Altikriti will fly to Iraq Friday to try to negotiate on behalf of the Christian activists: Canadians James Loney, 41, of Toronto and Harmeet Singh Sooden, 32, who most recently had been living in New Zealand, along with Tom Fox, 54, of Clearbrook, Va., and Briton Norman Kember, 74, of London.

The anti-war movement, which includes the Muslim Association of Britain, Stop the War and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, said it had been following events surrounding the abduction with growing concern.

In a statement the movement said fears are growing that the situation could end badly."

This is a good idea, all the anti-war activist should go to Iraq to negotiate with the terrorist. If you ask me, that's the best way to get rid of those activist.
