Seventy killed, at least 92 injured in 3 car bombs in Baghdad
"Baghdad (VOI) By Adel Fakher: bout 70 Iraqis were killed and more than 92 wounded when three car bombs exploded within a short period in central Baghdad on Wednesday.
Police initially reported that three car bombs exploded downtown this morning killing about 27 Iraqis including women and children and wounding at least 50 others.
But medical sources later said that the number of the dead was 70 with more than 92 wounded. A police statement said a car bomb exploded this morning in al-Nahda district while a second car bomb went off near el-Kindi hospital. The third blast occurred at a nearby parking area."
