The palms of Samawa say…..“ an Iraqi old song ”

"Demonstrations in Samawa had an impact on the whole society because of opening fire on demonstrators who came with very reasonable and totally comprehensible demands . It was a disappointment. It shows how far we still are from democracy. But in my case and in the case of my friends there is an appendix to it . Samawa was believed to be the thing that the rest of the country should look up too ( according to rumors of course)."
The Iraqi Roulette
This is a new Iraq blog I found today. It's number 151 over at Iraqi Blog Count. Posted by Zeyad. That should be big news to all those readers over at Khalid's that think that the entire Iraq blog world is River, Read, and khalid.
Being that all of them are such good friends with Emigre, that they would send her a little traffic every once in a while, just to keep their readers up to date on the latest.

Oh and Zeyad, it's good to know your still out there.

Hi Pebble,

I don't know any Air force guys, but Jason over at CounterColumn has a lot of experience on this subject as you can see from the post I linked too here. I would ask him.
