Latest updates

"Here's a summary of the latest updates.
Most of the updates have been added to the month of July, as the new Iraqi government shows itself capable of building upon the foundation laid by the US, in the areas of arbitrary detention and torture."
Rummy's Diaries
This is something new here, it's a blog dedicated to all the abuses of the MNF and their Iraqi puppets, or at least that's what I understood from a quick reading. I did notice that there are no comments allowed on this blog, so you have to judge for yourself how credible it is.

I ask unanimous consent, to have "that" struck from the record and the following printed in the appropriate place...
"In response to your comment, you actually are welcome to leave comments on the blog, just not on the "Latest Updates" posts. I'll explain why below."
And that the entire statment be made part of the record.

No objection being heard..

Hi MadTom, thanks for the link.

In response to your comment, you actually are welcome to leave comments on the blog, just not on the "Latest Updates" posts. I'll explain why below.

The blog is updated retrospectively. For example, if a document from the ACLU obtained in 2005 reveals an incident in 2002, the entry is put into the blog under the 2002 date. Because this means that regular readers might not notice new material, the "Latest Updates" post is written to provide a quick link to the new posts.

Each time updates are done, I delete the old "Lastest Updates" post and put a new one in. I don't allow comments on "Latest Updates" for this reason -- I don't want to delete people's comments.

PS: I like the title of your blog. Have you seen Get Your War On? It's amusing in a similar way.

And no, I had not seen that blog before. I'm going to check it out now.
Thanks for the correction, I updated the post with the correct information.
Welcome to the blog

Those comics are pretty good,
I only looked a few of them. But it reminds me a bit of the comedy of Phil Hendrie but like on steroids.
