About the veri-chip, well I think it has it's uses. I am sure that there are people that could use such a device, people that might have unique health needs or that travel to dangerous places. I know that if I was going someplace that, lets say was not the friendliest place in the world. I would want one for the trip. I really don't believe that I would need or want one for daily life in my own home town.
