"On Friday in Denmark a knife-armed man broke into the home of cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, who in 2005 drew a cartoon for a Danish newspaper depicting the prophet Muhammad wearing a bomb for a turban. The cartoon sparked riots by hardline Muslims across the world. Westergard’s assailant, who was shot and arrested by police, is a Somali immigrant with reported ties to Al Shabab, the Somali extremist group that has been battling the U.S.-backed Transitional Federal Government for control of southern Somalia."
