I was amazed tonight when the president got so many applause for saying that his health care reform would cost less than the war in Iraq and the tax reforms of the last administration.
I keep thinking wars come to an end, sooner or later, win or lose, but entitlements are forever.
They can last longer than diamonds

That was one of a number or nonsensical statements of supporting 'facts' his O'liness brought forth. If there is 900 billion in waste and inefficiency in Medicare to pay for all of this, why doesn't he solve that problem now and put that surplus into the system to insure the uninsured---YESTERDAY? Or are we supposed to believe that the government that is responsible for the waste and inefficiency can fix that AND insure 40 million more people without creating even more waste and inefficiency? Why does he keep saying illegals won't be covered, yet he daily includes them in the number of uninsured that will be covered? Only five percent will opt for the fed plan? It must truly suck and be extremely expensive--- or the problem is not as critical as he claims. A company that pays 15 % into healthcare isn't going to drop his coverage and pay the 8% for his employees to go on the public plan? None of that makes any damn sense. He promises to not take 'one single dime' out of the medicare trust fund... would that be the same trust fund that is bankrupt right now? He's slick, but even he can't believe that much bullshit. I want to have enough faith in the American people that he had to have lost all remaining credibility with the majority tonight and the leftist march is over. But....
Oh no, its not over, it's just getting started.
You could see it in that smile of his. It's like even he does not believe what he's saying, or laughing at those who do.
