"In her evidence to a US Congressional sub-committee on April 23rd, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton admitted the USA's role in creating the Taliban- "it wasn’t a bad investment to end the Soviet Union" she remarked, while acknowleging the "harvest" of instability and violence which continues to this day. But Ms Clinton was careful to conceal a key fact about the covert US intervention in Afghanistan."
