Uzbek-US agreement for supply to Afghanistan

WASHINGTON (SANA): US have signed agreement with Uzbekistan to provide route for non military supply to Afghanistan. The officials of the Defence Ministries of Uzbekistan and US signed agreement.

US Assistant Secretary State for South and Central Asia Richard Boucher said that according to agreement US would carry only non military goads through Uzbekistan to maintain the ongoing operation in Afghanistan.

He said US has great concern over the violation of human rights in Uzbekistan and this agreement is based on trade not political.
