Texas State Senator, Dan Patrick, was on FoxNews this morning at 8:45am. He said he had some “breaking news to share”. Boy was it!!! The Texas State Legislature had been trying very hard to get the Obama Administration to respond to a critical situation on the Texas Border. The Administration had not gotten back with Texas as of last night. So the State of Texas told Washington D.C. basically they could go jump, and “we’ll take care of Texas!”. As of last night… the Texas National Guard has been put on High Alert!!! This is the first time in history! Texas tried, desperately to get Washington’s approval… but when they could not get it… they acted on their own. Which I say…. it’s about damn time!!! I personally applaud the guts it took to defy the Fed’s and act in our best interest! In case you are unaware of what the problems are …. Sen. Dan Patrick spelled it out nicely!
1) 100’s of PRO-DRUG CARTEL Mexicans were blocking the entrance to the United States, yesterday and today, banging cars, shouting and holding signs. 10 people were killed Wed. and 12 more yesterday at the border (5 of which were children!!!)
2) They aren’t sure … but they think the Drug Cartel is paying the demonstrators to do what they’re doing.
3) This will spill over into the States! Mr. Patrick, and the other State officials,. are convinced that road-side bombs and car bombs will make it across the border and WILL NOT allow that to happen!!
4) Mexico is breaking out in Civil War in the western part of the border and they expect it to spread the entire border with no end in sight.
5) The National Guard will be activated as the scenario worsens and is on Alert now and will remain so until (and IF) Washington does something to end the danger on the border (Yeah… like that’s gonna happen!).
FoxNews has yet to put this on their website which absolutely ticks me off!!!! I will post it IF they get the stones to do what’s right!
Let’s pray it doesn’t come to this…. but in reality… Texas could be in a Civil War (actually it would be an international incident) with Mexico very soon if this isn’t quelled. Just so you folks know…. the four Militia Groups that are here in Texas will be put on alert this evening. This has gotten REAL, REALLY FAST!
God help us… as we do what is necessary.

My BS alert is going off, MT. This hasn't happened as far as I know, but I know it is being discussed more urgently. With the situation in Juarez today, all it would take is an incident on this side of the border to bring it to a head. I talked to a trucker who has been to the border at El Paso a couple of times this month and he says most truckers think the border is being run by gangs today and our own Customs inspectors are either scared shitless or are wearing really nice watches and driving new cars. He also said he has noticed that there are a lot of truckers that seem afraid to even talk about it openly, now. They whisper a lot at the truck stops around El Paso. It may be only a matter of time before something major happens on our side of the border to bring it all to a head. It will get interesting. The Fed Gov will protest the use of TX Nat'l Guard for that purpose and threaten to cut of funds and supplies, Hispanic race pimps will declare racism and call out the useful idiots to protest, patriots will push back, prison riots will get instigated by the drug gangs that run most of the TX prisons already.... could get real interesting real suddenly, but I don't think we are at that point, yet.
Well I'll take your word over some news any day. Though, you have sparked my curiosity with your trucker contacts, any chance you could get more?
Just be careful, I have a feeling the wall have ears, as a matter of fact, I think I am being followed. I know, I have checked to see if any of my meds were out of date or something. But I just don't know, today my computer is different, the google bar changed places?? that ever happen to you. And my part time partner got fired from his primary job. He was the only one fired from a company with 25-30 employees...you think someone might be sending me a message? Or maybe I just need a vacation.

I don't really know any truckers, this guy was just one of 3 that were delivering materials to my jobsite and we were just discussing the coming end of the world. Right now the government line is that all those getting kidnapped, beheaded and dumped on THIS side of the border are not citizens and are involved in drug trafficking, so don't be so dramatic! So, at least the American citizens that are being kidnapped, tortured, murdered, etc have that done to them on the other side of the border, as far as they know. Nothing to see here.... I read an article today from a small town paper on the NM border with Mexico and it seems some very cash wealthy Mexicans are buying up property and moving their families across the border into small towns just across the border. Whispers are that they are drug lords or their higher ups who are seeking the relative safety of this side of the border while they do 'business' elsewhere. So give it time... their competitors will follow them eventually.
I thought the story was tiptoeing around a lot of stuff. Such as why the townspeople were so confused about why they couldn't hire and keep a good police chief and now had no police at all. The county sheriff is 30 miles away and he said the reason they couldn't keep good police is because they kept hiring the people he fired, but he didn't say why he fired them. I can guess.
There was another story today from the El Paso times I posted, and on PBS they has a story about Tijuana, they said the war there was worse there than Afghanistan and showed a squad of special opps troops patrolling the town. like in Iraq they had to cover their faces to protect their families from reprisals. Apparently the war is a turf war for access to the boarder smuggling routes, they even had an interview with a US boarder guard that said that when the shooting starts they get out of the way, "you never know where the bullets are coming from, or who they are shooting at". And he also said the border wall was of no use. or ineffective, words to that effect.
So maybe I was wrong before when I said the war would burn south. It looks as if you were right and it could escalate north as the sides dig in, and people will be looking for high ground from which to gain an advantage over their rivals...
