"There is nothing more gay (gayer???) than going shopping with four other guys. If each one of you has at least one concealed handgun however, that fact is negated….somewhat.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of going ‘downtown’ sans body armor, without an automatic assault rifle and free of the constraints of a three vehicle tactical convoy. It was a truly liberating if not quite legal endeavor, almost like a day pass from prison for good behavior.

Cordero, Dean and I are on yet another road trip to work with a class of new police recruits. We had to take a ride of opportunity from Camp Spann, so the guys going our way dropped us off here four days early. With extra time to kill, a few of the Blackwater guys (names withheld to protect the innocent) helped us run a few errands that I was originally going to send Dean to do on his own."
