Moqtada's Brilliant Plan

"The media are scrambling to patch up their earlier argument at Moqtada Al Sadr is the most powerful dude in Iraq. After the results of last month's elections showed that the prime minister won a clear victory, the press have been rewriting their stories.

Now Reuters tells us that Moqtada Al Sadr's gang is near an agreement with Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki to form a coalition. In other words, he's still powerful. Get it?

Of course this comes after AP's report yesterday that said Al Sadr's gang had hoped the election results would push the Americans out of Iraq. Al Maliki wants the U.S. military to remain, Al Sadr wants them to go. Never mind that little detail. Al Sadr is still the man."
