The real story is the look on Maliki's face.
Picture is worth a thousand words.

Fortunately for Bush, the Iraqis as usual had bad aim. Apparently, that reporter never got the message they were liberated. That image will stay with Bush for some time and the world will rejoice.

Oh come it's not all that. In saddams days that guy would go straight to the shredder.

Bush is guilty of bad planning and subscribing to some of the worst advice, but he gets some points in my book for trying. No one else had the balls to.

Oh those wacky Iraqis. That Iraqi would have bowed and scraped before sticking his face in Saddam's armpit with tearful kisses but he felt free to throw his shoes at the leader of the 'evil bloodthirsty occupier'. I think he got the message that Iraq was liberated and he proved it by feeling free to be an ass.

And act of frustration. There is Bush, the most evil himself. Yet he's leaving, putting all the power in the world in a drawer for the next president and walking away with a smile. At the same time, all the Arab leaders will remain, to small to let go.

You have to feel for that poor guy, it's just more than he could possibly handle. So he makes a fool of himself.
