What a coward Obama turns out to be.

I have been watching Bill Moyers interview with the REVEREND JEREMIAH WRIGHT, and there is no doubt that those sound bits are all out of context, and it's just the usual Speedboating the right is always doing, basically a pack of lies.

But what's up with Obamas distancing himself. If it was me I would be defending this guy 100%. Just goes to show you. The real story here is that Obama can not be trusted. I have lost what little respect I had for the guy. If he is the candidate, I will not vote for Obama. I want a President that will defend me and my rights, not jump ship as soon as he smells a little smoke. There is no way I would ever trust the guy now.

I don't think that my reaction was the one they were looking for when they aired this interview. But there you have it. Watch it for yourselves and see the light.

If I were black, there would not be a rock deep enough for me to hide my shame in Barack Hussein Obama.

I have yet to see the PBS interview, but the excerpts played in the media don't appear to be out of context. They have now released big chunks of Jeremiah's sermons from the Sunday after 9-11 and the month after the Iraq invasion in 4/03. These are the sermon's that have been excerpted in the media. Listen to it in total, then describe what has been taken out of context by the right. It will be interesting to see Moyer's & Jeremiah's spin out of the sermons. Likewise, if McCain had sat in a KKK church for 20 years & stated currently that he did not agree with the KKK pastor's racist rants, but indicated that the pastor had other good qualities & then stayed for 20 years. Would he get the same understanding from the networks, MSNBC & CNN. I think not. I know NOT.

So do you agree with lets say, slavery, the interment of the Japanese American during the war, Jim Crow laws, or the ethnic cleansing of the native Americans?

The link is right there "PBS" you can watch it anytime.

Of course I don't agree with any of these horrendous misdeeds. I know Western culture like any other culture has mistreated our fellow man over the centuries & beyond. Progress has been made & obvioulsy more needs to be done. But when are we going to move on beyond ? Does Wright's style of sermon bring us together? Does it bring healing & forgiveness within all the races & cultures? Barack started this campaign as the uniter. This rhetoric does not unite, it divides & therefore knocks Barack's campaign off by course. I will hit the link.

"Wright's style of sermon bring us together?"

Why yes it does. He's just giving a lesson of when the government is wrong, you should stand up to it and denounce the wrong doing. Nothing could be more American. And so easy to explain.

Obama is a coward, and most likely a liar too. It's hard to believe he's ever even heard an of these sermons. Most likely just pretending to be part of this church to get the black church sympathy vote.

Madatom ... Thanks for the welcome. I have been reading the site for months and recently on at least a daily basis & I appreciate it. Obviously, were on different political fences, but I appreciate humane discourse. BTW, I saw the interview. Jeremiah had the soft voice on & I think it works better for him
