Baghdad’s sons and daughters sharing their happiness
" by Correspondent Jenan
Have you ever heard about delightful image in Baghdad, well let me show you this image, hopping that you will like it. These days the street of Baghdad witnesses moving graduation parties of university’s student that we called Zaffa (wedding) parties, it is not like usual wedding but it is graduation ceremony in Iraqi way.
The boys wear elegant suit and girls wear fancy dresses. Two days ago, I was in beauty saloon where I found four beautiful girls pretty up to join to their classmates who were waiting for them to start their celebration.
The cheerful students were celebrating finishing their study in the college. They adorn their cars with colorful ribbons and balloons. The guys found in this simple celebration a breather for their lasting suffering.
In the past we used to have special party in festival hall sharing our happiness with our families and friends, but now this matter became difficult with all these tragedy events. Those students created this moving party (driving round the city, dancing and chanting) as if they want to share their happiness with their beloved wounded mother, Baghdad.
This wonderful view made me fly with my happiness far from all these bloodshed around me, Baghdad still pulsate with life in spite of everything we still test happiness flavor."
Inside Iraq
I hate to say it, but these people are sheep.
It's as if someone flipped a switch. All of a sudden some of the worst news blogs, most anti occupation, anti anything west, are coming with these good news post.
I'm dumfounded. I'm guessing that they have their orders, and are marching along like good soldiers.
And they say the Mossad has a secret network of blackboxes.
