"...that's what I call our platoon sector now, it's a sinking abyss of mud, and water (not even rain water, think septic tank). Even the FOB is a endless pit of sinking mud (minus the shit water part), the sun barely peeks its lazy self from behind the clouds, and I continue to freeze my butt off.
