"So last night I was getting some guitar lessons from a couple of the guys here that put together a band…they were practicing and coming up with a set list to play at our little Christmas party we are having in a few days…I just happened to sing a song along with them and one of the guys said “you’re singing that one”…they wrote it down on the list and put my name next to it—it might as well have been set in stone…I tried to back out because I can’t really sing…I kinda yell and belt it out, but it was a loud crunchy rock song so I said what the hell…got a few tips and tricks on the guitar and played around all night…I think I have “Mary Had a Little Lamb” down pat…I’ll rock it for you next time I see you guys…today was just another day on the FOB…missions and meetings and people doing what they do…the engineers bought a big water truck and a latrine service truck (shit truck) and they asked if we could check them out…these trucks were purchased thru some unknown agency and will be turned over to the local government so they can service the public toilets we built for them…these trucks are not even close to being new…I think they are mid-90’s models …anyhoo…"
