"One of the biggest reasons I started to write this blog was to share the human experience of war and life. Since reading great authors like Stephen Ambrose whose offerings such as ,Comrades, and Band of Brothers have brought the true fellowship of war into our homes and lives I could not in good conscience ignore the wonderful people and experiences with them I have shared.
Now, I might be a little twisted so the experiences I write about might seem a little off center but to me this is life. When I was a young private in the Balkans I wanted to share my experience with my father but didn't want to write anything that would compromise security so I wrote essays about the guys I was with because that truly was the experience I wanted to share. There are moments that only those in these extreme situations can appreciate but are compelled to share."
