"Returning to Fallujah"

"July 6, 2007 By 0100, in the early hours of July 6, I was landing in camp Fallujah, compliments of a USMC CH46. I've come to the conclusion that in all my hundreds and hundreds of hours in all types of helicopters around the world, ranging from tour helicopters in Hawaii, to Huey's in El Salvador, to a variety of helicopters here in Iraq, the CH46, or "frog" as they call it, is my favorite means of transportation. Of course, I am partial to the CH47 due to the family connection with that aircraft, but when I'm on my own, there is a sense that I always belong on a CH46. "
