The children
"Another night in paradise, another rocket attack. This one caught us all off guard in the media tent. We were hard at work teasing Francis - the Global TV reporter - about becoming the proud owner of Willow Lilly Caramel a Shitzu puppy (Each portion of the name given by one of his three children). He had just found out - via email - from his wife Brooke, and was being ribbed mercilessly by those normally "oh so merciful" journalists. Just as the laughter reached it's height, the rocket struck. Very loud. Very close. With a communal expletive we all grab our gear and head for the shelter.
The Taliban rockets always seem to arrive between eight and nine in the evening. One theory I have heard is that they use sixty minute egg timers. They set the rockets up just before dark, when it is still light enough to see what they are trying to hit, and then scarper after setting the timers."
