50,000 Hits!

I’m baaack. We just hit 50,000 hits, so a big thanks to all my readers. It’s hard to find the time to sit down and write. I have lots of little projects going on around the house (and some big ones), as well as settling into work again at Arnold AFB. I am happy to report that I now have a cubicle, as opposed to a desk sitting out in the open. I even have room for my Afghan flag and the famous toy jingle truck. The stuffed dogs that accompanied me throughout Afghanistan are now perched atop my computer monitor, and some Romanian paraphernalia from Dany is hanging on a divider. It’s a nice little set up, though it is eerily similar in size to my room back in the B-hut.

Hamid writes fairly often, but the notes are usually short and I have no updates on his attempts to get married. He does enjoy working with the new team, and seems to be doing well. I haven’t heard from anyone back in Afghanistan, which means I don’t have much to write about. I do have an update from Odie for you, so kick back and enjoy.
