Rumsfeld Out, Gates In

"No, not Bill Gates, Robert Gates. Gates is a military man and served in the Navy, unlike Rumsfeld who has no military service background. While I’ve always supported Rumsfeld I’ve also said that the post of Secretary of Defense should be filled by someone who KNOWS the military. However, in the absence of a military vet to fill that post, I can think of no one who would have done as great a job as Rumsfeld did. Gates also served in the CIA for 25 years, which will help in guiding us towards defeating an enemy that can only be tracked through good intelligence, followed up by a good military response."
